South Korean little league baseball team captures America's hearts

Bradly Handly
Congratulations to South Korea for winning the 2014 little league World Series. This was the feel good story in what has been another boring summer of baseball and you could not help to feel good for the South Korea little league baseball team. They had an incredible run in the little league World Series and were the talk of the nation and the world as these guys prevailed and showed the world what they could do the South Korean team was lead by great play from star players.  and played their hearts out winning their nations second little league World Series.
It was great to see a team made up of all Koreans play and win this all American of American sports and the rates for this little league was at an all time high as the Chicago the nation, and the liberal press got behind this story of the South Korean little league run. Asian teams continue to dominate the little league World Series and have done so pretty much since the late sixties as the little league World Series truly became a World Series. This was a great achievement for these boys from Korea and the admiration and love America showed them because of their Koreaness was totally amazing. Baseball fans show no color blindness and to be able to make this Korean team the national good-will feel good news story with constant press coverage of their games and achievements and glory on the field was an incredible moment in American youth sports history. There is even talk of president Obama inviting the South Korean team to the White House because they won this great championship and consisted of kids from one particular town in South Korea. His would be a first and they would be the first international team to be I voted and lay praise on from an Kenyan president. If only Major League Baseball could have these feel good sports stories that little league seem to be able to obtain.
