Apple bets on new bigger screens and wrist watches

Otto Jansen
Apple is a late comer to the incredible belief that people will want to wear smartphones on their wrists 18 hours a day yet alone one hour. Several companies have already introduced these silly unnecessary items to the market with dismal results yet Tim Cook of Apple thinks he is Steve Jobs and that people will flock for this item as they have for other Apple products in the past.
Of course the business and print media are saying if any company can make this product fly off the shelves it is Apple. These Apple supremacists would say and Apple pen would be a big hit and new market to carve a niche. Apple is a company that has never dominated the smartphone industry playing second fiddle to pretty much any major available line of product. Only the dominance of ITunes is what really made this company so beloved wit their iPod products and clearly this was only because of their love of music. The iPhone had to do a major refurbish of its phone as the market has moved on to bigger screens that Apple fell behind their competitors and many customers have moved beyond this company. It would be a egregious mistake to think that Apple has the same following it had in 2008 and the idea of a successful watch would of made sense back then. you would think the folks at Apple and Tim Cook have some sense and the trend is towards bigger screens and not smaller screens for a watch that you will have to squint all of the time.
Watches are a rare luxury item men can wear and few men who need to show their status will trade down for a nerd watch that does little. A watch is not a necessary  item like a mobile phone is and Apple and its investors will see this I. The following few months after this stupid item is released to the market for all but a few to actually wear. This is a company that has got complacent about their power and making silly decisions on these new product lines is going to be the first sure sign of a downfall
