Once again Pat Robertson received some slack the other day for saying that girl movies promote lesbianism. What Pat should of said is that girl movies promote only bonding with other similar minded young women and the rise of female bonding is pretty much correlated with the fact that there are now more single people than married people in this country for the first time. Young females are way more interested in developing relationships with man females whether this is sexual or not and perhaps Pat's continuing focus on sexuality is the causation of much ridicule in the media. 
He does have a point that here movies and other female promoting bonding has detrimental affect of establishing relations and friendships with young males as it seems to exclude them as much as possible. Friendship is a key factor in developing marriages and the fact you see so few marriages of young folks in prime breeding years is a problematic societal breakdown. Without friendship you don't have marriage possibilities and too many young females show little interest into developing relationships with the opposite sex compared to previous generations. This you can thank to female bonding girl movies that are becoming more obsessed and popular with teenage girls and thus yes they will develop many lesbian relationships instead of the heterosexual relationships you need to keep a society and culture continuing. Of course many urbanites don't want to hear this and will just attack Pat and his followers and program because they really have no bitterest in seeing homosexuality or Lesbianism questioned and the use of film to bring this possibility of alternative lifestyles to the youth of America that is so persuaded by pop culture.
