There are many history revisionists and often when it comes to World War II they are repulsive and perhaps none more so than Patrick Buchanan. This man that tried so desperately to be president with is unique brand of conservatism and xenophobic has written several books over the years. Today I review the one he wrote called "Churchill,Hitler, and the Unnessary War and this is basically a war that Buchanen wished didn't occur because it weakened colonialism. Patrick says there were many blunders that went into making this a destructive war but if somehow he thinks that this war cold of been avoidable by not having guaranteed Polish independence then he is a old fool. Britian and France needed to make a stand and the fact they didn't and fight this war earlier on is the reason for a long brutal war. Patrick says that it was Ritish failure to keep a Pacific alliance with and ever growing militaristic Japan way back like in 1910 that drove Japan to war and into the arms of Germany. He says nothing of the limited resources in Japan and how they wanted and overseas empire of their own to rival European powers so they could feel more equal. He also says it was natural for Germans to want to live under German people instead of a created Czechoslovakia and that the treaty of Versailles was too harsh.
The whole purpose of it though was to avoid anger European war and this cold of only be achieved by dividing the Germans and the power of the German state something that was done in European history ohhh for something like three hundred years. That seemed to work out pretty well in Europe after the Thirty Years War and only another land Hungary dictator in that period created a wider war on the European continent. Buchanen decries Santana's on Italy and this decision for making Italy go closer with Hitler as if somehow Italy should of just had their invasion of Ethiopia ignored as their invasion and annexation of Libya.

To guys like him only if Germany wrestled Scotland into the third reich should Chirchhill have then gone to war against Germany. Buchanan spends special investment in this book on Winston ChurchHill who he calls a post-Christian atheist whose carpet bombi g of German cities was in essay and as evil as the concentration camps of the third reich. Patrick Buchanen hates everything about the aftermath s of the Second world from countries getting their independence to communism spreading and remaining a geo-political force in the world. In his old mind if ChurchHill had stayed out a diet Germany and the Soviets fight it out Everything would of been fine ignoring the fact that to the victor lays the spoils. The winner of that war would of been a bigger combined threat and much stronger absorbing the loser with its ideology perhaps even teaming up with Japan t make the world unsafer for democracy. Whether a boob like Patrick Buchanen can comprehend this at his late age is not evident from this sorry tale
