Naomi Klein on Sam Sedar's show promoting new book on the climate

Fossil fuel companies have us stuck in a consumption lifestyle that creates their supremacy for energy development. This topic is discussed as Naomi Klein was on the Sam Sedar show to discuss her new book on the climate a d resistance for change due to the power of the oil companies. Naomi talks about the success of renewable energies and invent, net in Germany and other European countries whole we are stuck in neutral with dirty energy and large wasteful transportation vehicles for moving usually one person. Naomi wonders why progressives are not always on this issue All of the time. The political  arena as it is energy fossil fuel dominance that prevents relevant progressive changes in politics and the world we live. She sees the crisis of many issues linked to fossil fuels and how resources are wasted to keep political will and power to those with vestige interests of keeping the economic status quo and resist change through all force. This is a great discussion on how we can prioritize things and get a more equal just world by destroying the power of the fossil fuel industry and transition to a new economic and energy source where resources can be shared better and lessen power of those inherited power sources that inflict damage to our democracy. The importance of tak g over local control of energy from the profiteers of the energy conglomerates that use our energy and work ability to deepen their pockets and give them more political power to call the shots. Oil companies inAmerica are desperate to stop the momentum of alternative energies that wold bury them back into the tar pits and make their operations irrelevant and their lobbying is the only thing preventing us from moving to the next stage on energy independence.
