Author Craig Karmin gives a very good historical account to how the dollar becamse the reserve currency for much of the world in his writings and has created a book called "Biography Of The Dollar" and he explains such thins as why tiny Ecuador and other countries establish our dollar as their currency. American power and the spread of the dollar use goes hand to hand and Karmin explains this throughout the book as America became the only economic power standing following a destructive World War.
The supreme of the dollar though has been under attack and the major consequences of this is another major topic of this interesting currency book which there are many of out there. he also makes a point to the advantages of keeping the dollar as a world international currency and the difficulties the start up challengers still face in overtaking it has a currency for the rest of the world. Craig karmin knows his dollars but it is ulikely he made many from sales of this book as only people with a keen interest in the function of paper money and how coutries decide to use or adjust the value would be interested in reading this. The mass volume of trading dollars and insane profits from this money shifting scams should of been dealt more by the author and made easier to explain for the casual observer and thinker of currency trading.
