FAO Schwartz was an elitist store that was only located in midtown Manhattan. The store closed down recent among disappointed fanfare from tourists who always loved stopping at this store. Millions of wealthy tourists visited this store over a year but few made purchases for these insane over-priced items and thankfully the high priced rent has put this elite store out of business. The problem was that people were just glazing. At this store making it a routine part of the female addiction of social shopping. It is good to see one less place for the luxury travelers and constant vacationers from enjoying in an area that only traveling people seem to visit. Toys R Us got tired of subsidizing this store which basically was a tourist spot for rich people to take their kids and this ended an institution that had lasted in the city since 1870. The fact that an area like fifth Avenue has all these shopping areas which included unique expensive stores at FAO Schwarz was more indicative to the inequality that has made Manhattan an island of exclusivity and businesses that cater to these folks need to go. FAO could never monopolize on their monopoly and crucial location and popularity and this is good news in the class war front as it is the shopping exclusivity that gives the upper class the superiority and nostalgic opportunities. another great thing about this closing is it is one less outlet to instill and brainwash the youth into embracing the art of shopping which has done nothing but weaken America and empowering our creditor China. At one time in this nations history it was actually shameful to be in massive debt and to declare bankruptcy was akin to murder. FAO Schwarz dead at the age of one hundred and forty four.
