Max Boot is an author of many war books and pretty much war is his bread and butter. He appeared on Tom Ashbrook's issue shows on NPR radio along with other guests and made an ass of himself. Max Boot wants more boots on the ground in Iraq to ISIS but apparently he doesn't want one of his foot in these boots. In fact, it in unlikely that Max Boot doesn't want one of his related Boot members to fight in this overseas war that essentially has become another Vietnam. Max says that in order to fight ISIS that we need more strategically bombings and expenditure in the industrial war complex instead of spending on education or other import needs for this country.
Max admitted that the reason we need American troops to be on the ground in Iraq is because we cant trust anyone in Iraq to call in these strategic bombings. If you cant trust your allies then Mr Boot why the hell do you want other Americans to sacrifice and risk themselves in a region where they have been fighting for fourteen hundred years and the legacy of hatred will ever prevent the democratic diverse representative government that fools like Max Boot think the United States can force on other people. With men like Max Boot trying to get voice with policy makers this country is well on its way of catching up to the fourteen hundred year warfare and hatred direction of the Sunni's in Iraq. Max doesn't worry though because he will never have to be in one of these boots and warfare has been good to Max and book sales getting his name out there and being invited on discussion and advocating additional troop buildup again in Iraq.
