President Barack Obama spoke last week about the administrations concerns with how the Islamic State continues to grow and get recruits from all around the Islamic world. he seemed really concern about the adaptability of this country and its post-border vision and indeed Obama has seemed to grasp the problem this problem can't be achieved through military actions alone. Sounding like the politician he is Obama challenged the corrupt Islamic countries we sell hardware to open up opportunities for these angry people so they don't spend so much endless time being easily recruited through social media. He called for step up efforts to curtail the freedom of expression though the social media sites where young Muslims can express their grievances against their countries and the wests suppression of Muslims around the world. Obama says the hearts of minds can be won and most likely he is hoping that money interests can somehow end all of this fighting in the Middle east in a world of dwindling resources and kleptocratic governments and their cronies who refuse to share power and wealth. this is at heart of the problems in the Middle East and Obama says nothing of this in his speech last week about the war against ISIS. the real issue is that you have these corrupt families and their entourage who have driven down the living standards of these Muslim peoples whose standards were not even that high to begin with given the colonialism and then inept rule after independence. As Vietnam saw though peasants armed with the latest arms and technology can cause havoc against the policing forces of empires and the oligarch ruling classes of the neo-liberal business world. This world will always see poverty stricken people living above resource extractive lands as an obstacle that needs to be in a constant refugee gypsy type status so these business conglomerates can get access to these lands. Barack Obama of all people in power should know this the most and for this his speech shows what a jackass tool he has been for the ruling moneyed class.
