there have always been a scumbags that claim to be cops and harass individuals because of their nationality in the city of Chicago. Many of the far Northwest side bars are as seedy as they were in the summer of 66 when a Richard Speck was hanging around. Fat fuck Michael groh was give a cool one million dollar bond for attacking a South American man in Sofias's bar on Pulaski and shooting him with a pellet gun while claiming to be a police officer. Groh asked the man who he did not know for his green card and where he was from and was likely spared a beating after identifying himself falsely as a Chicago police officer.
I kinda wished after hearing this story that this asshole really was a Chicago police officer and it would of clearly been an major embarrassment for police in this city if one of their members did this. I have encountered this as guys try claiming free pizza at the Itasca Inn in downtown Itasca claiming to be policemen in local jurisdictions as if this is somewhat justifies them receiving a free slice of our great pizza. This bar in Avondale has many jackasses who are worried about the changing face of demographics and couldn't nor care less about whether someone is a South American or a Mexican. Groh was arrested in the past for similar ethnic intimidation crimes and this guy needs to be locked up for a long time and banned as ever being a patron of Sofia's bar on Pulaski.
