Ed West
Chris Hedges has many books out and his book called "The World As it is" is a collection of his writings from 2009 to 2011. Chris is particularly upset at the conditions of the Palestinians and indeed spends a lot of his writing in this era talking about the Middle East. He blames Israel and the United States for responsibility for suicidal mass bombers instead of seeing the brutal response by the Israelite security state as a response to the Islamic radicalization of the Palestinians. Hedges takes it to the Jewish state for creating a wall of separation between them and the Arabs and one wonders if they had the power to build one separating the Jews from the Nazi storm troopers if Hedges would have issues with this as well. The Jews have been excluded and treated like dirt from Muslims through the ages up to the modern days and the creation of the state of Israel is a response to these injustices against Jews in the Middle East and no where does this fuck in his writings from tis time period acknowledge the oppression of the Jews in Arab states and empires. Hedges and the anti-Israeli journalist world seems to forget all the pogroms and mass murder of Jews not from the Nazis but their fellow sematic people in the regions they shared space with based on their faith. The wall created by Israel separating the Jews from Palestinian suicide bombers has saved countless Jewish lives but this hardly matters to an instigator like Hedges who only cares for Palestinian lives. this is a writer who ignores the evil and self-destruction of Islamic supremacy and ideas while blaming it on the American empire which is the only one able to contain the spread of the Islamic terror network and chaos that the Koran preaches against all non-believers. This guy doesn't want to acknowledge the root causes that lead to the Jewish state having to build these walls which was the constant use of human suicidal kamikazes against innocent civilians drinking their cup of espresso and which was a daily occurrence of mass explosion carnage in the mid nineties. Fewer bombs now go off in the cafés of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. This is not a negligible consideration. Viewed utilitarianly, it justifies its construction and the ability of the jews to finally protect themselves from the past evils is something that an anti-sematic like Chris hedges cannot deal with and it drives his pea brain nuts.
