The WNBA is twenty years old and continues to be a drain for most NBA owners who want nothing to do with this money losing social experiment by David Stern. The NBA commissioner is the only person willing to continue this farce that is this woman's basketball league some of these players have the audacity to proclaim they should be getting paid as much as the men. Many franchises have folded and ore and more owners want to end subsidizing to the tune of twenty million dollars year tis ridiculous notion and need for a woman's league. The real world is not the collegiate world and there is no title IX mother fucker in the real world.
Unlike Volleyball the woman of basketball are ugly and will never have any sex appeal or be able to draw an interest aside from the other ugly lesbians of society who are generderly confused.The NBA saps up about as much corporate and media money that can be allocated for professional basketball and there is just no dam interest in an inferior product. the concept of a woman's league being a necessity or growth opportunity for the game makes about as much sense as a midget league, wheel-chair, or an all-Asian pacific islander basketball league. The economic reality is that this league is nonsense and a waste of time and money for these owners for a product which there is absolutely no fan base or market to watch woman's sports. 
The WNBA continues to decline in attendance and has no viewership despite the millions paid out by ESPN to telecast this "athletic competition". The WNBA has only made it to twenty years because of the charity of David Stern and NBA but this charity is quickly being questioned by many of these owners wondering how this basketball league of woman players will pay off in the end for the national basketball league and the sport. What this league was attempting to do was replicate the sponsorship tribute and money from smaller markets where an NBA teams was just not feasible such as in Tulsa, Oklahoma. However companies in these regions actually need their dwindling profits to pay for a work force and not for a bunch of women who dream they are Kobe Bryant and want to get paid a portion of Kobe. Bammm these woman are lucky not to be airline stewardesses bring me my drink while the neo-liberal order slashes their wages and benefits. Fuck the WNBA and their players wanting millions to play a four month schedule
