Peter McCann and rural outer jackasses in Australai mad at Greyhound regulations

Jake Glass
Old coot Peter McCann is upset the Australian state of new South wales will be banning greyhound racing. This old guy remembers vividly when the streets of Glebe were full of proud gray hound racers and their owners who proudly gambled away their money on dog racing. Recent reports have indicated some sixty thousand dogs are euthanized in Australia through the years because they were noncompetitive and the brutality which occurs in training these dogs for racing. McCann can't believe the government is threatening the livelihood of people w ho should of never even been allowed to profit and make jingle from this awful and abusing  sport.  McCann has made his living for years at the sentworh race track abusing these greyhounds and causing them to have a lousy life of rigid diets and training often chasing around live bait which was deemed illegal in Australia. Greyhound racing has always been the most ridiculous of all the racing venues where animals are tortured and in reality for this debacle to be ended old dudes who push it- like peter McCann-need to die off. Luckily governments around the world realize that this industry makes a country and people look bad. report found that up to 20% of trainers engaged in live baiting, training dogs by letting them chase conscious small animals. It said at least half of all greyhounds bred to race - as many as 68,000 over 12 years - were destroyed for being "uncompetitive".
"It is not uncommon… for unwanted greyhounds to be drained of their blood under anaesthetic before being euthanized,"according to critics
In response, NSW Premier Mike Baird last week announced greyhound racing would be illegal in the state after 1 July next year. This is great news for animal rights activists who have had this  rutal sport under their radar in Australia for years. For old sour puss peter McCann this good news is sour grapes. It's devastating," McCann says. "I just can't believe the government has done this. Greyhound racing is part of our culture, part of the fabric of Australian society." too bad so sad and because something was mistaken ans allowed in the past doesn't make it correct and a total ban of greyhound racing needs to be the next step in Ausietown.
