I thought everyone at one time has seen the iconic seventies movie Blazing Saddles which stared the recently deceased gene Wilder. Gene Wilder past away and he was the last link to many classic movies for so many in this generation as personally Silver Streak and Stir Crazy were two of my favorite movies with this dude. gene had disappeared from the public eye as he became very geriatric and in so many cases the question of whether he was still alive or dead was brought up. now this question can be laid to rest much like Gene Wilder and people can now pay tribute and remember the life and times of Gene Wilder. Of course, when we say remember the life and times primarily people are only concerned with the theatrical or stage life of gene Wilder and not his real life. Who gives a rats tail about Gene Wilder or basically any celebrity off camera. When I remember Gene Wilder it is when he was strutting in the prison entrance seen in Stir Crazy. I remember him as that crazy cowboy with Cleaon Little in that great western. I fondly remember him in some chocolate movie making chocolate and singing to little boys and girls with a funky fucking hat. Without these movies would really anyone give fuck about gene Wilder. When Cleaon little died some many many moons ago the thing that most often was mentioned in his obituary was that he was in Blazing saddles and not in ahhh lets say the Lions Club.
now with this in mind I was both shocked and appalled that a media radio guy like the gay Wayne Besen from Chicago's WCPT progressive propaganda radio station had never seen Blazing Saddles. the guy has traveled throughout south America and central America looking for gay one night stands but he could never go and see blazing Saddles one fricking time. Besen was telling a co-host that he loved Star Wars and a bunch of other movies Gene did with Richard Pryor through the years. he loved gene in Young Frankenstein, another cult comedy of the mid-seventies who without gene Wilder would of been another long forgotten boring horror parody. Wayne Besen though likely refused to ever see Blazing Saddles because as a liberal sack of crap he read that is some of the most politically incorrect and insensitive movie with stereotypes against gays and Blacks. Is this the reason Wayne Besen never bothered and voided to see Blazing Saddles? who knows. All that I know is gene Wilder is dead and basically all he did was read lines and make facial expresions and got paid a lot of dough doing something anyone can do if given the chance. gee Wilder is dead at the age of 93 or 88.
