Dmitry Orlov was of James Howard Kuntsler's podcast talking collapse and socialism as well as capitalism for about an hour. Orlov feels that the current political and economic system works against most people and when socialism is the only barrier in the way in keeping capitalism straight and narrow then society has a major problem and why capitalism needs major reform. Orlov described when he left the Soviet Union for the suppose utopia of capitalism in the seventies and saw the reality that was America was declining back then through the financial shenanigans of Americas elites and the system of debt to further their gains through the loses of others.
Kuntsler talked about how we are in the twilight of the industrial age and asked Orlov if we are headed back into a feudal society and will this be the result of the two failures of capitalism and communism. They talked about alternative models that would distribute goods more equitable. America is more than one country held together by a federal government that distributes a handout program and whose biggest job program is the military and exportation of the young overseas to represent armies and take the place of elites in the protection of their national governments and assets. the coming collapse of America along the lines of the Soviet style has long been predicted by these two men and whenever they talk both men present their vision of what the future will hold for North America. Orlov talked about the given of man to hierarchy and authoritarian control the future does not look good as economic collapse hits hard. he is impressed with the turnabout and youth in Russian though compared to European and American counterpart where there is a less serious outlook of actual reality and Kuntsler again used this opportunity to inject and bash the tattooed youth and culture on the United States. both men agreed that the talk of war with Russia is bullshit just done to justify continued cold war and military expenditure that takes such a huge chunk of the budget of America and is preciously why both the Soviet Socialist model and America's capitalist model has both inherently collapsed and ceased being a power except in mind and corruption of a few who hold sway and power.
