Coming real soon to the Morris Performing Arts Center will be Hollywood legends Steve Martin and martin Short. These two celebrities apparently are finding it harder and harder to get gigs so what they basically do now days is one of these speaking tours where they just bullshit and talk. I knew someone who went to one of these Steve Martin jobs and it is boring than watching fur grow on a Seal. Steve Martin and Martin Short have a career of really bad movies that are mostly forgotten and people basically just remember them for a few popular ones and in reality I have never seen a good movie Martin Short was ever in. martin Short is a enigma and what he was ever doing on Saturday Night Live or behind the big screen was appalling to most social critics
Both of these guys funnier days are behind them and why people would be willing to shill out eighty dollars to watch these two clowns sing songs and tell old stories is totally unbelievable. I really don't why critics in the media always they to maintain these guys are brilliant and talented when their performance says otherwise and basically one can conclude fake media news on entertainers have long been part of the bought game. I may even try to attend their march 1 program just to jeer and call out the stupidity and bullshit these old celebrities speak and get outrageous money thrown at them and bored wealthy fucks thinking these two clowns are still relevant in 2017. I often wonder how many more talented and younger comedians and artists didn't get breaks or opportunities as the entertainment landscape rewards old brand names like Steve martin and martin sort despite the overwhelming evidence that their style is out of date. I probably won't go because seeing these two nimrods talk for hours might be nauseous and I think I rather take a cruise liner from Iceland to Falkland islands. Anyone who thinks Steve Martin is a comedic genius really needs to see his one time performance in the Pink Panther. one positive aspect is that these two guys are exactly where they belong doing live audience shows instead of motion pictures although a high school gym I would say is much more appropriate for them than the great Morris Center.
