Many old suburban rings are seeing their rural nature completely erased as the gas stations and Du kin Donuts seeks to make each community of simple sameness very difficult to distinguish from one another. Buchanan energy is based in Omaha ,Nebraska and they basically seek to make a mold of Omaha into all communities with cheap land and away from the core downtowns where elites can see their property skyrocket because there are few ten pump car wash and connivance stores. Buchanan bought up a bunch of Mobil gas stations and seek to install some sixty mega gas stations in the Chicago's suburbs that can only increase pollutants, congestions, and a drop in the quality of life and Bucky's is given these allowances to build everywhere because local villages don't care about the unique character of their communities and seek to replace it to make a quick buck for themselves.
The problem with corporate dominance of the energy sector is that they can choose where and when to open a 10,000 Bucky's station loser place where half of the people if one sits and counts are terrifying. Nothing transforms a community more into a ghettos that endless tobacco, liquor, and mega car washes gas lands in the suburban landscape and James Howard Kuntsler has been warning America this is what your country is coming down to as all of your local politicians are in the pockets of these guys and can themselves move into more trendy areas where local laws would prevent a fucking Bucky's setting up shot and increasing your areas cancer rates. One particular proposal is so egregious is that it actually seeks to tear down two homes and actually expand into the side street itself. another one is across the street from a Speedway that was just built that already has twenty fucking pumps.
Bucees is developing and building these mega stations everywhere and ruining the landscape and bringing in more truck traffic which is never good and a goal we need to fight more against. Many Homeowners are fighting any of these projects from this shitty Omaha-based Buchanan Energy and they seek to make all roads once mishmash of connivance gas marts with about as much charm as a truck spot. in essence this is what many of these Bucky's would become on the major streets and thoroughfares of Chicago's sprawling suburbs and one can best say and doesn't have to be a James Howard Kuntsler to realize this only speeds up the transition and set up a suburban towns decline.
