Today I come live form Billy Corgan's Tea shop blogging about Billy Bob himself and how the upcoming Smashing Pumpkins reunion tour pretty much shows the bands misogyny as it ignores original female bassist member named Darcy Wretsky. Billy Corgan is not having any luck with his wrestling career nor his tea shop and the former lead singer of the nineties band is returning to his roots by taking lead and center of a Reunion tour few will care or read about this summer as the smashing Pumpkins are long gone kaput of anything resembling influence in music.
Billy is balder than a bat and his voice about as crisp as a toaster and the idea that his band mates would get together and exclude the only female in the band smells of total discrimination as Darcy is accusing this jackass Corgan. She is also angry that the eccentric and neurotic founder of the band later downplayed her contributions to this once popular band many many many years ago despite her being the lead bassist and major part of the band from 1988-1999 which incidentally coincided to my academic career at Central Illinois University vividly recalling this band playing though town. D'Arcy says Billy is manipulating the history of the band and trying to erase and whitewash her form it by ignoring her and giving her no credence or offers to stack up with the upcoming gigs and clearly this is another example of Billy Corgan trying to play some power trip angry at the attention the only female member of this band received through the years more so than the other dweebs of Smashing Pumpkins that nobody cared about. Corgan and his male bandmates want all of the attention for themselves but they will find that it no longer exists and never was really that huge to begin and without the ever lovely Ms Wretsky the Smashing Pumpkins are about as charming as a ripped carpet.
