Les Grobstein has the ultimate gig for any red-blooded America and he has been talking sports and receiving a paycheck for it now some forty years. Lester Grobstein celebrate major milestone birthday the other day and proclaimed how great it was to live the life he has and made incomes form what he does. However, people and including many of his devoted fans are wondering though when greedy Lester will retire and allow someone younger to call the shots and have opportunities. Les Grobstein's predicament is not uncommon in the business world where easy cushy jobs are dominated and held by individuals refusing to ever consider retirement.
Les seemed annoyed the night of his birthday and the following days as callers and texters wondered how much longer he has to be working in Chicago and being on air never allowing anyone else to step up and have the opportunities to talk sports;A job by the way anyone can do and in many ways much better than Lester Grobstein who basically just recalls games from long ago much more than many of the listening audience could ever recall or were born. Les has become stale and the same old sports shit and really WSCR should push for this clown to retire and allow some freshness to perforate rthe airwaves before listeners tune out talk of the 1959 White Sox or the 1969 Chicago Cubs,
