Larry Lujack is dead

Larry Lujack was a famous DJ and thanks to monopoly corporate media and radio he was able to be well known for many decades in the Chicago area. Chicago had some real bad radio when I was growing up and this guys show made me want to vomit. in an era before Internet and podcast people basically didn't have choices in listening habits so jerks like Larry Lujack were able to flourish. The guys show was not entertaining and people listened mostly for the music or they were stuck  in traffic. The only popular part of this guys radio show consisted of him reading oddball animal stories around the country. A talent that basically anyone who could read could replicate on air. The guy had no talent as neither did many other radio hosts of the seventies and eighties. what they did have was close personal friendship with men who often moved around as station managers an so forth so the same idiots kept getting on-air jobs and radio became a plutocracy of the same "talent" there was no fresh radio talent coming the Chicago and another guy who should never of been on the air for more than a month was the obese Steve Dahl. I am sure his health is bad and  one day his obituary is coming soon and we will see news of another past bad Chicago radio "personality".
