For the past few weeks Nick Digilio rustic voice has been missing on the airwaves of WGN and there is much speculation that Nick Digilio is really sick. He finally made an appearance as WGN played a bit on his podcast where he told people he was taking health emergency and some tie off and would explain to his audience when he comes back. he set that date to be July 20th and we will finally hear what happened to Chicago's late night lame ass radio host overnights on WGN radio. There is much speculation that it may be terminal or that he just fell flat dumb and drunk on his face one night much like his bit making fun of drunks in the news. The sorry sap even missed the last few Blackhawks games and celebration being the bandwagon jumper and huge hockey fan he has become like so many other fools in this city. That would be perfect but most likely it is something that he will recover although he sounds like shit the few times he has come on other hosts radio programs at WGN radio. WGN radio would not be the same and this sickness is unfortunate as it took fifteen years for Nick Digilio to fully get his own fulltime gig on WGN radio after years of just hosting for everyone when they had numerous vacation days available to the hosts. Talk radio has a medium is dead and this guy basically should just try to get a full time movie critic rile although the newspapers have ended this occupation for all but the top elite. I am still wondering what Nick D's sickness could be and have ascertained that it can be an eye or ear disorder from years of watching so many movies and concerts blasting into his ears. It could also have something to do with the years of hard binge drinking he would often brag about getting drunk and stupid in various bars and clubs along Chicago and Milwaukee and Indianapolis East side . Whatever the case we will find out when Nick Digilio returns to the airwaves on the twentieth and finally discloses what has been ailing him all of these months and this night is sure to be an over night Chicago ratings bonanza and record with perhaps topping five thousand people listening live.
