   An in-depth analysis of the Monday Night wrestling wars was written by author Shaun Assael covering basically Vince McMahon and his reaction to the upstart WCW wrestling organization. Ted Turner had tried to enter the wrestling world and the reliance of wrestling on cable and pay-per-views and for a few years he had Vincent K McMahon's wrestling organization on the brink. For once since taking over his fathers world Wrestling federation and destroying dozens of smaller independent wrestling organizations around the country Mr McMahon found his organization under attack. This book covers nothing no wrestling fan already knew in years in reading about McMahon and the battle for wrestling supremacy and "Sex, Lies, and headlocks' basically looks at soe of the stories of pro wrestlers inside and out of the ring at this time. Assael writes on the steroids era and how this scandal just caused a little blip on the WWF and McMahon basically skated free of this because y then his name was already big and he had the money to carry away the courts. The steroid scandal really should of been the death keel of the WWF but thanks to pay-per-view and corporate cable channels ability to siphon off money from corporations under the guise of advertising, this mans wrestling empire was able to continue and thrive. This book covers some of the most controversial events in pro wrestling and the lengths of sexual and cultural depravity Vince McMahon would let pro wrestling go in his era testing the boundaries of what was appropriate and getting himself in trouble often with cable hierarches. Vince McMahon is a scumbag and this book draws attention to the insanity  this man has wired to his circuits and how he treats the wrestlers working under him illustrate the point of corporate disregard for works. the amount of ney this man lost in trying to propel another football league and the XFL typically showed the actual little business sense this man has and his only talent is basically being a monopolist from the East Coast in something as inconsequential as pro fake wrestling.
