Times are tough for sports fans who happen to be bigots in America. The recent news of Jason Collins announcement that he is gay is just the opening of the door for more athletes to come out of the closet and into the locker room showers. Right wing conservatives love and idolize sports and the over paid athletes. The fact that some of them will prefer anal sex to banging a cheerleader seems to offend so many right wing Christians. When it comes down to it this is the group that seems most upset at any news of gay athletes. I have often wondered why Christians are so into sports and the fact of something they consider so sinful making inroads into their jock strapping worshipping arenas is chilling to them as that bitch Michelle Malkin would say. It may actually make them spend more time in their little churches instead of paying the big bucks supporting the pathetic industrial sports complex that corporations are so eager to throw at instead of investing in hiring American workers.
Conservative bloggers and assholes keep saying that this guy is a marginal player. Who cares. the hate and immense venom being spewed by those angry by Mr Collins declaration is total amazing coming from a people who pride themselves on their love. One has to wonder if these morons wonder their hip God the Lord their savior Jesus Christ would share their hate. Would their Jesus also spew this hate because some pro athletes prefer other pro athletes to bimbo cheerleaders.
