Brazil the giant has finally awoken. Brazil has seen some of the largest protests in years as people are outrages over a recent bus fare increase that eats up to over thirty percent of their monthly income. This protest has increased and become a part of the massive protest over corruption and inequality in Brazilian society. The wealthy class in Brazil had been good to the international business class around the world and recently rewarded Brazil the Olympics and the World Cup. Of course the average struggling citizen in Brazil looses out as resources are diverted towards the rich and their projects in Brazil that reward themselves with these huge events. The neediest in Brazilian society continue to loss out by the actions of the rich rulers of Brazil. What the wealthy now massively fear is that these protesters will shed light to the inequality when they are hosting the soccer cup and the whole world will be watching Brazil. Citizens of this great country will no longer tolerate the money being spent for sports and not for the people who need it more than rich athletes from all over the globe. We here at the Left Shark will continue to monitor events in Brazil and follow events in Latin America's largest and most unequal country that the business world salivates to exploit and produce growth for their corporations to profit. The kickback culture of Brazil is under attack and the elites are worried.
