Noam Chomsky's failed United States

Make no mistake the United States is a failed state and a pretty poor example of the values it claims it wants to spread to the rest of the world. Noam Chomsky has for years talked and written about the United States is the biggest threat to democracy and  the provacuter of the militarization of the planet. In failed States Chomsky looks at how the United States is the most failed states  in the world and has absolutely no principles or guilt in the way it kills so ruthlessly abroad.  Noam talks about the Reagan years and he complete destruction and terror this country caused for the average citizen in places like Guatemala, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. America has since evolved the ability to spread this violence to Muslim lands and profit those who deal with arms and international terror. Invading foreign lands and then trying to subvert the elections they worked so hard to prevent is something he United Sates had earned from their ally Great Britain.
The Illegitimate invaders that this country is so proud of wreck havoc on the Iraqi  people and return home as heroes instead of the pariahs that Vietnam vets so rightfully experienced Chomsky brilliantly points  out. The degrading cultural norms and values of this country make this possible and allows the lie of American forces helping promote democracy abroad.  Even before the invasion millions of children in Iraq suffered starvation due to sanctions imposed by the ignorant west eager to reestablish a new form of colonialism on the people in this region. Chomsky devotes a whole chapter about Washington's obsession with the Middle East and how the need to punish Iran for overthrowing the murderous Shah reverberates to this day and puts us on the brink of nuclear war. The reality is that America has no real desire to see an advancement of democracy and human rights in the Middle East .
The United States is a delusional country whose media and public relations industries help determine elections. its businesses sped hundreds  of billions of dollars projecting images to delude consumers Chomsky states and providing greed that demands constant technology for a war machine. deceit is the problem of free markets and it instills a value system that contradicts democracy. Chomsky lays out throughout this book that the United States is one of the countries in worse shape physically, spiritually, and morally and the last country that should be trying to lead the world telling other countries what is right and wring. This us a great "Bush era" Chomsky book and the 2004 election is often brought up in this book. Chomsky discusses a bit how government spending to feed the corporatocracy is due to the large increase of government lobbyists that pressure politicians to provide money for their industrial projects. The predictable result has been a dramatic increase of corruption in this country that many people thought as reserved for the third world.
