I got back from the winter Olympics and the conditions and infrastructure sucked. The Hotels had no heat and the toilets smelled of three day old sewage. I will not bore you with the same rehash details other journalists have already complained about their free trip covering goofy outdoor cold games. I will not list the numerous stories of cheap seventies era curtains in the hotel or how the hallways and lobby's hade tape on the rug for some reason to prevent their old rugs tripping people and bringing lawsuits. I will talk about what a shitty city Sochi is and how it did to deserve an Olympics. The whole concept of fucking Russians ever hosting an Olympic event with a brutal leader like Vladimir Putin should never have considered. He basically put it in an area that he is trying to transform from the native Circaussian people whoever the hell they are. Dave Zirin wrote a little piece about their history and genocide from the Russians. The Russians are just dirty people never meant to have a capitalist society and allowed to showcase their atrocious history and culture in a event such as the Olympics. They all have difficult long names that are hard to understand and really just a cold people from the climate they originate. They come into cities like New York and Chicago and use their corrupt foreign money to buy up part of the American economy and help kickstart corruption on this land. The amount of waste these Russians wasted on their two week winter Olympic while the rest of the city crumbles is a travesty and sooner or later these elites will not be able to con the working people in allowing their finances to be dripped just to bring a dumb showcase of boring sports for the children of rich people. Sochi will never be heard from again and for those numerous people that made the trek to watch this winter bullshit their time will soon be forgotten in Sochi.
