Armando Arturo and Lee Park Kong discuss the KFC deep fried rat controversy

Armando Arturo: A California man named Ivan Dixon went to a Kentucky fried chicken and had a meal that evidenty was shaped like a rat. KFC has denied this and said this was just a regular chicken strip which comes in many shapes. What do you think Lee

lee Park Kong:  There is some controversy about this and it depends of the store. it could really be easy for a disgruntled depressed loner working in one of these paces to just sweep something up from outside and throw it in the deep fryer for kicks.

AA: well it looks like now that it could be a hoax but I have to admit after seeing this in the news and all over the web I reconsidered ever stepping foot in a KFC.

LPK: well I don't think that is much of a problem where I live. Many KFC restaurants have shut down as many Chinese kitchens are open up instead in the Northern suburbs of Chicago which are getting more and more Asianfied as we speak. few eat as fast food places.

AA Isn't deep fried rat an Asian culinary specialized dish in parts of Asia

LPK Not in Korea. in parts of China you see this dish served all of the tie with hardly any flinching. Rat toasted over easy is a popular meal at anytime in many arts of unsophisticated and rural backwards China. South Koreans would never eat this rat shit. now for the North I don't know.

The concept of fried rats being thrown in fast food fryers has been a common theme in some pop culture works on television and so forth. Beavis and Butthead would often pick up a rat and throw in in the fryer giggling like a couple of snarling but fucks.

AA:  one has to consider the lower elements that are drawn or stuck to fast food jobs and see how this image was developed. I have had many a suspicious meal at places like Churches,KFC, and Popeyes. The dark meat always tasted like it may of been from a more fouler bird. anything smashed up in popeyes meals over the years with their unusual Cajun special temporary menue never tasted like chicken. I am sue it was rodent meat or worse.

Lee Park Kong:  There is something worse than rodent meatImage result for deep fried rat kfc

Arturo Armando  Highway kill. No fresher nor cheaper meat out there.

Lee Park Kong  The rat dishes in these Asian markets usually include some of the most largest rodent I have ever seen. You can youtube and google and see how they prepare and serve rat meals in parts of Asia. Like I said I wouldn't t trust a animal that caused the black death and eating this is really not salubrious to your well-being. Only a peasant would eat this crap. it can be embarrassing to be Asian to know how many have no qualms on gong into a restaurant and picking a fucking rat off the menu.

AA:  whether this is true or not somewhere Colonel Saunders is shaking in his grave. he would of murdered an employee if he ever caught one doing this in one of his retaurants when he was young and growing the company.

LPK  The Colonel was an old coot when he expanded the franchise and likely would of never noticed along with the hick customers in these early KFC places and especially those in Kentucky. KFC is struggling and it is not a bad thing to see as this chain has definitely helped with the explosion of obesisty in America and the growth of it now in Asia.

AA: fast food will not make you fast and make you more dependent on the automobile. You notice how few of these places are in urban elite gentrified downtowns. The best thing a community or neighborhood can do is to tell Uncle sam to tell Colonel Saunders to go to hell.Armando Arturo's food critic column

LPK  : KFC benefited fro the low corporate tax rate so they can expand overseas in chimerical ways that would never have been possible in a truly free-market playground. KFC expanded not because their chicken was good but they were good with political players in domestic and international arenas that helped this company to expand their chicken restaurants.

AA  : No doubt it is shameful that this place represents American dining in the eyes of much of the world. The place has always been a joke and its popularity was in the seventies when it actually wasn't as large and omnipresent. I always tell people to seek out small family run independent chicken places which there are so few of as a testimony of Kentucky Fried Chickens corporate world power. They are probably managers out there cocky enough to ignore some crazy employee putting mouse meat somewhere.Lee Park Kong

LPK  This franchise is so bad I really don't know who out there can proudly claim they are a regular patron of this place. Anyone saying this likely would be laughed out of the office. people go there only because there are so many and they dominate the landscape and are just there.

AA: I couldn't agree with you more. The amount of money for this place to ensure ordinance laws and only new modern structures to be on main arterials is the basis of monopolistic fast food domination in America that the globalist fast food companies desperately wish to import to all parts of the world once they get the automobiles up and running.

LPK thanks for the conversation here at the Center Bear

AA: Have a deep fried rat for me soon.
