Dave Zirin and Tom Brady shocked at suspension and fine

Guy Baldwin
It was not suppose to go this way. Tom Brady thinks of himself as one of the most elite players in the game and being one means you have to take advantage as much as possible to gain an edge in the brutal spectacle called American football. He never would of thought a superstar such as himself would be treated by the NFL and that it would make such a big deal about some minor rule about how many pouds of pressure a ball should have. Tom Brady was accustomed to having the ball underinflated so much in the hundreds of hours of practice the NFL players need to prepare each Sunday. he liked the ball not to be so fully tight and liked to be able to grasp the top part much like a Tiger grasps its young. Brady had been doing this for years and from his stats and performance everything was going fine until some dipshit decided to bust his ass on this practice. One million dollars will be set for Tom Brady and some find this fine so excessive including Dave Zirin, the writer for nation magazine. Zirin is more angry at Roger Goodell than the cheat of Tom Brady and I am all fine with this fine. The NFL sets rules and demands that all players and teams follow this and there are not a set of rules different because somebody has achieved the stardom and glory of a Tom Brady. Like most elites in this society the entitlement that a Tom Brady feels likely was his own downfall and I think this turkey should got a stiffer sentence of being suspended for half the season.
Zirin shouldn't be too concerned with the million dollar fines as the extravagant lifestyle and incomes of these players this becomes monopoly money. A Dave Zirin always takes a players troubles and moves it up the hierarchy trying to put focus and blame elsewhere instead of the athletes he so admires than bureaucrats, owners, or officials and this is basically been the mark of the sports social justice reporting of goofy Zirin. You don't change the topic to other issues dealing with the commissioner and the game when trying to defend Tom Brady and his illegal act that should of been caught and stamped out long ago. Just like partisan politics it seems writers such as Zirin are becoming partisan game blamers looking away when their favorite player or team member fucks up.
