Sheldon Whitehouse has done great jobs battling corruption by municipal leaders in the state including the mayor of Providence and he has an excellent records on environmental records in oil spils and other disasters leveling large fines Against oil companies that were very effective. Looking through the efforts of Whitehouse has done since being elected in office he pretty much stands against everything these Red Eye big oil supported radio hosts stand and speak for and this is why Eric Harley and Gary McNamara so despise this great senator from Rhode Island.

He has proposed lowering estate taxes for the rich,demanded a withdrawal from Iraq and declared the war was about extending oil oligarchs,sports single payer, and he has been very vocal about the dangers of right-wing extremism and hatred using mob tea party rule to oppose Obamacare and equality for all. Whitehouse also bravely served a bill requiring federal agencies to be concerned long run about climate change and that government has a role in determine the dangerous consequences and what needs to immediately be done to reverse the effects. Sheldon Whitehouse is fucking cool and we need more senators like him making the faces of corporate right-wing radio shells faces red. He brought about the economic impact that climate change threatens to burden this country and world in the lo g run while in the short run oil industries spend millions to deny the affects and buy air-time on the media for right wing hosts who spew misinformation like these national syndicated Red Eye radio saps. 
A Sheldon WhiteHouse is what this country needs in the White House and it could come to these days which is why Harley and McNamara would ignore the right-wing nuts and focus on this guy for a few minutes.
