Insane government spending in suburbia has policemen with great pensions are often sought after by naïve young women not realizing what they are getting themselves into with a marriage. These young women who marry old men because they ave money don't realize that they are bought and paid for just like a politician and thus practically become property. For Kathleen savior and Stacy Peterson tis turned out to be deadly and they will never pass on this tradition to their daughters nor will they become grandmothers.
Drew Peterson is on trial for trying to get a it on the prosecutor of his first trial and now Drew finds himself in a Southern Illinois backwater drip hole hick courtroom. Drew is about as far as he one can be from the world of McMansions in suburban Chicago and getting paid to it in a country donut store watching teen girls by donuts. Drew Peterson is the son of the devil and in this courtroom it recently became known that Drew would celebrate wit tequila after getting revenge on the prosecutor and he would escape to Mexico and join an outlaw biker group. Randolph County State's Attorney Jeremy Walker told jurors on Monday that Peterson was motivated by "anger, hatred (and) revenge" against Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow. He said the defendant also believed Glasgow's death would lead to a successful appeal of his first-degree murder conviction, which is under review by the Illinois Supreme Court.
Peterson, who is imprisoned at the Menard Correctional Center in southern Illinois, faces an additional 60 years in prison if convicted of the new charges.
"They're going to sensationalize the heck out of this thing," defense attorney Lucas Liefer told the jurors during his opening statement. "Do not give in to this approach."
On the recordings, Peterson blames Glasgow for efforts to revoke Peterson's $79,000 annual police pension, prosecutors say. He also says Glasgow is the reason that Peterson's son, Stephen, lost his job at the Oak Brook Police Department over what authorities said were the younger Peterson's efforts to obstruct the investigation into Savio's death.
