William Greider ponders political forgivness to tax cheats and job exporters

Neil Knight
The Republican and Democrat tax-haven give away for companies to return their profits dismays William Greider.  the great famed writer on inequality wonders how there is little resistance to block the plans by our two party monopoly to both reward and forgive these traitorous American companies from returning to the shores after their globalized ventures. Greider is questionably upset that these political parties are basically willing to give away hundreds of billions back to these multinationals who abused tax loopholes to financially destroy the middle class in this country. These companies have had a long tax benefit of not having to pay American taxes on profits made overseas and much of these profits are accumulated from shipped jobs that pay the natives little and screws over Americans who once did these jobs yet continue to pay full price for the shipped products.   Gredier has written many books question how our democracy been abused through capitalism and allowances government gives these corporations to divert resources and incomes into a small pool of families. Greider's excellent pieces can be seen in the Nation magazine and website and his recent take of the forgiveness movement by both political parties is obscene given that these American companies have 2.1 trillion dollars in reserves parked overseas and now is holding that money hostage until congress declares no tax upon return of this money. The same jagoffs that knock the federal reserve for its massive printing power say squelch about the amount of money overseas by American companies often should having fund projects at home. much of this money is also used to corrupt governments overseas keeping many countries in the hands of pluotocrats with no notion of true democratic principles. as Greider points out America has increasingly inequality because we have allowed such free access and free movment of money to go untaxed in society and allowed hoarded outside of the country. the American people have been snookered enough and this would be a huge snookering as because the money goes to the very people—shareholders and corporate execs—who have already done fabulously well at the expense of other Americans
