Krispy Kreme left the Chicago area and closed all its stores back in 2008. now they plan  on returning although they will not have any more success than they did when they entered the market in 2002. Krispy Kreme is just coming back I believe just to give a few villages  some new construction work as they will build some eight sites and likely abandon them as quickly as they left last time. This is the corporate game hand in hand with government. there is no demand nor need for Krispy Kreme in this market long having saturated with Dunkin Donuts who makes a large majority of their ales through coffee and not sugar snacks. Krispy Kreme used to operate several doughnut shops in the Chicago area, but all of them have since closed except one location in Elk Grove Village. Despite the previous closings, however, Krispy Kreme officials indicated that Chicago wants them back.
“There’s a high demand for Krispy Kreme in the greater Chicagoland area,” said Patricia Perry, Krispy Kreme’s Vice President, US Franchise Development. where this demand is coming from was not explained by Perry but likely the demand was for new construction as these developers pressed their local cook country villages for more construction and influential jobs and money in constructing g these ugly suburban building that will likely be replaced again in twenty years.Image result for krispy kreme conveyor belt In a sense one can say America's obesity crisis is a result of the few manufacturing jobs of making doughnuts instead of lug nuts is part of the problem. Local villages can only rely on tax base of gas stionos and doughnut chains instead of other manufacturing bases that has been moved to asia than ks to our greedy corporate class running the economy. Makin doughnuts can't be outsources or at least wouldn't make enocomi ense to ship doughnuts across the Pacific. kkrispy Keme will come to corrupt Chicagoland again build a bunch of buildings and then abadon them thus alloing the local village cronies to flip the building to some immigrant Mexican or Pakistani people to open up a restaurant and have a great outlet for money laundering and a major tax write off. they will  opportunity to get food on the cheap for their families througj their suppose
