Roy Innis professional trash TV brawler is dead and was a underlooked eighties legend

Roy Innis is dead as the legendary jazz singer and civil rights activist death was received under the radar in the media. Roy is best remembered though as a frequent trash TV talk guest of various racial and urban issues and had a temper on him like no other. few wanted to mess and tangle with this South paw as the fists of Roy were quicker than a foxes jaw and the strength and valor of Roy Innis was seen on two major occasions.Image result for roy innis geraldo rivera
he was a close friend of Morton Downey (as was I often calling his award winning radio program)  and was eager for a confrontation with frequent big mouth critic of his in one Al "scumbag" Sharpton, who would later be rewarded with his eccentric and neurotic large girth and mouth with an MSNBC prime time cable program a decade later. Al called him out with being a sellout for the black extortion lazy movement and Roy proceeded to send this fat ass back on his ass with a massive shove. The shove of Sharpton and his fall made national headlines but it was his part in starting a skinhead brawl on Riveris program that gained him more mainstream notoriety. Roy was called an Uncle Tom by a young David Duke and proceeded to choke the White supremacist in front of all the other skinheads that precipitated one of the first brawls recoded on Live television.Image result for roy innis Now Geraldo Riviera was no Morton Downey Junior and had a daytime program watched by millions and he was at the time considered a serious journalist at the time. Somebody got a right hook into the mustachioed beak of Gerald Riviera who looked like he was fucked up after the brawl and he should of lost his program just from allowing this incident to occur. Who knows looking back but perhaps Innis was goaded to cause some drama through these appearances to shake up what was basically boring programing nd these incidents may have been more staged than a Rock Stone Cold Austin. whatever the case Roy Innis was not a negro to mess with and Roy Innis is dead at the age of 85.
