Nick Digilio amazed at the fifteen minutes of fame for nacho guy and why australian football fans would never get such hey

  Guy Baldwin
Both WGN radio Nick Digilio and the sport of baseball suck and the fan base of American baseball often is made up of morons like Nick D. Digilio got to speak about another baseball incident where the non-game actions took news form the boring and dull game as a big fat St Louis Cardinal fan became drenched in taco sauce and nachos after a Cub infielder ran into him in the stands. As a  former baseball fan I am not surprised to see all of the viral internet action involving baseball news has to do with off-field or odd player-umpire reaction as baseball finds it hard to draw attention to the actual sport.
Nick Digilio in fact spent much of the time talking about the nacho incident and the fat fan who also interestingly caught three baseball foul balls the same night.
Nick seemed envious of the attention garnered for nacho guy and he surely wished a foul ball would smack over his pizza one day at a ballpark for the cameras to capture and Nick Digilio receiving all of this fifteen minutes of fame. Nacho guy was interviewed and celebrated in the  mainstream media and Digilio marveled at the attention this unnamed man received both during and after the game as many people thought this was the highlight of another Chicago Cub and St Louis rivalry pennant stretch crucial game. This fat clown and his nachos being spilled may have been the highlight of the St Louis Cardinals season and later on in a marketing gimmick to ensure viral news the Chicago Cubs shortstop Russel Addison came down and handed this chump a new order of nachos.
The fan took a selfie picture with the Cubs shortstop and this amount of attention for the fans in baseball is an occurrence one would never see in Australian Rules Football. No North Melbourne Kangaroos fan would ever receive news such as this and this  type of event would ever occur because the amount of action on field for the game. Australian Rules Football is a sport that would never stop for this nonsense and slowness of baseball and lame crowd interactions. Baseball is evolving and just like the televised event more and more fans are becoming an equal part of the game as there is only so much of the same action that can be tolerated by the audience.
