The lack of creativity and new character development is amazing by the Computer generated Hollywood industry. A New star Wars movie will focus on the bigfoot sasquatch character and species that apparently never dies and is the water Bear of the solar system. Chewbacca has the personality of a giraffe and todays movie audiences will never reeally be that into Star Wars or sequels, prequels, remakes, and computer generated space junk of this series because they were not part of it when it was new. The Hans Solo character will be revolving door of different actors but all will pale in comparison of the original character that put the Hans in Sol and made Star Wars in Harrison Ford. I am surprised that Hollywood and the film industry is not in the leading forefront of human tranhumanism and cloning as unless you have these original actor who smashed box offices ands screens what is the point of rebooting the same characters with new as this movie does with Alden Ehrenreuich.
This young man is no Harrison Ford and it is not fair for this actor to even try to reprise the role made great by a many many, many, many moons and a long long time in a galaxy of time far away in 1977. This new movie Hans Solo sucks and the only surviving character in that walking dog Chewbacca is getting more annoying by the year and they need to kill off this beast already as it adds nothing to future possibilities of Star Wars. Actually they need just ft junk the entire Star Wars civilization and industry in general and if this industry wishes to put together such rapid CGI images and movie then they should come up with something new and exploratory of the mind.
The same madness and numbness of the alliance and rebellion needed to be weeded in the nineties. Movie audiences don't care for this story plotline anymore but perhaps George Lucas somehow put a lifetime patent on any movies where space ships move about on a black space background. This movie is basically just a bunch of criminals and racketeers in a space setting and this plot wears thin and is about as exciting as playing SF021 all day Star Wars battlefront stormmtrooper at Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield ,Illinois.
I get that twentysomethings want to see new acrtors and their age as most movie audiences will always be of this age range but new ideas for new generations should develop and rehashing something that was popular in the eighties just shows the lack of originality of movies today. Richard Roper though loved the move because like Life cereal and Mikey he will eat anything in order to keep his great gig as an urban media elite who ahhh makes his movies form watching moves and spreading dumbness and distraction of entertainment in peoples head instead of paying attention to details and politics of their nation.
