Throughout strip mall America a scam is going on bigger than boulder in the Rockies. The massive amount of these fake gyms and fitness centers being built and using private equity money to prop up sales of exercise equipment to fill a void in crummy architecture and cheap build for local community and village leaders to collect rent is ramping up in suburbia America.
These phony baloney no membership health clubs go by the name of Charter fitness, Any Snap fitness, and other fitness are filling up these crummy parking lot retail sectors and increasingly they are coming to the large traditional malls as well. The only real winners are the makers and manufactures of exercise equipment much of it made in China and overseas and most if not all of these shitty fitness centers have few members and a drive through many of these places reveal that these are indeed perhaps fake fitness centers. Nobody is joining these small shit gyms and these businesses provide accounting fraud and the transfer of money and purchase of product being able to pay real estate through phony practices and preventing real retail from being established and sell fresh green vegetables, fruit, or clothing. These buildings need to be hardware stores or anything and from the looks of people in the suburbs one can well ascertain that health is not a priority and again as I say these places sit and remain empty of actual people exercising. There is about as much demand for these small gyms in urban and suburban America as there are for used shoe stores. Fake fitness centers are not alone as many other health care systems are joining and filling in this dull strip mall space and giving a more dreary look for hundreds of thousand of strip malls adjourning this eye sore massive country. These businesses are lamer than bingo halls and upon inspection there really are not many equipment or dumbbells in these businesses and somehow the thinking of if you build it they will come is not coming to fruit and cornfield. Many for these strip malls are unusable and would be better off serving as affordable housing in the suburbs but this is perhaps part of the plan to avoid by many of these communities wishing to keep housing an livability luxury and impregnable for the masses of poverty stricken people finding housing costs unattainable.
