The Dukes of Hazzard was an incredibly violent television show that I was extremely disappointed never turned out to be a successful video game enterprise. This program consisted of criminals looking and getting together with corrupt county commissioner Boss Hogg and wrecking havoc with the Duke family often caught in the middle and them somehow coming out on top. This show was so unrealistic as about every episode had a chase seen where criminals often shot at the dukes to no avail and missed in all cases as I do not recall an episode where either Bo and Luke Duke had to seek hospital help form a shooting.
This show got so dull and predicable that both Tom Wopat and John Schneider were furious that the story writers never diverted and attempted to write some other more interesting story lines and this program was a one trick pony. The Dukes of Hazzard saw much gun play and bad ass action but to little consequences and one would think guns were highly inaccurate in this era as even the General Lee didn't seem to get shot at too much aside from a window here and there. I don't know why there was so much gunfire and this was Hazard County and not the OK corral. 
There was a a ridiculous amount of shooting and gun fire the Dukes faced in this program and I cannot over emphasize how bullshit it was and seemed a joke even as a youth. I'm done watching Dukes of Hillbillstan for another six months and will start watching again and putting it on rotation at the offices of the Right Bull.
