McDonald's slumps as more reject its dumps

   McDonald's has been in the news this week for a couple of things concerning its dismal slump of recent months. There were several national stories about McDonald's trying desperately to she'd its image of being a cheap place to eat. You know the mere fact that actually helped it to rise in the American scene to begin with and there is no doubt that this company has turned a post on one hand it wants to raise prices and be a real higher food image and choice. However, on the other hand is the deal that McDonald's only actually became huge because it marketed itself as a cheap place for families to take their young children out to eat. There is no doubt that go gout to eat with a family on a budget and to keep young kids entertained is how this business thrived and its not going to turn fortunes around trying to go upscale.

    The other report was  that  millenniums, years after being forced outgo these cheap happy meals, are turning against this business with and flocking to rivals like Chipotle Mexican grill and Five Guys burgers. McDonald's is toast by this mere fact. While I an generation x, my cheap parents and friends also had one to many happy meals for us to ever consider frequenting these dumpy restaurants. There is no changing its junk food image because these fast-food outlets only became very successful from the fact of it is what it is. A place where they get food suppliers to supply them with the cheapest food and an ability to pay its workers hardly anything is what lead McDonald's to shamefully become an American institution and a leading cause of the rise of obesity in both children and adults. That is an image that will always stick with these corporate bastards"

Jimmy Z hangs up his podcast and is done

   The outrageous little followed podcaster called Jimmy Z announced on you be that he is putting his awful podcast on hold. Jimmy never lets his last name known due to outrageous sexiest,racist, homophobic comments, had somehow finally landed an engineering job some months ago. Jimmy's podcast was among the most filthy right wing lie propaganda out there and the likes of Glen Neck and Rush Limbaugh were often to the left of his program. Our own Troy York often called his listener line to tell old Jimmy what a price of shit he is and how wrong everything he spewed out of his vile mouth. This is a man who played radio from an early age and the son some military bigwig out in California and for five years this fuck used his allowances and inheritance money to pay for his right-wing Mark Levin wannabee program. It was entertaining to listen to his despair at Barack Obama's election victories and basically ninty percent of his awful content consisted of anti-Obama rants and worries that he was com inn after Jimmy's little inheritance fortune. Jimmy had few fans and finally gave up his podcast this past July a d finally announced on YouTube that it was too much to actually work a real job and run a bad political right-wing podcast. Jimmy said that if her were offered a job even in a small market like Indianapolis or Jacksonville he would quit his engineering job and move immediately because he loves spewing outrageous, ridiculous conservative talk. No real radio station would ever give this bum a real radio hosting gig and if his lousy podcast was some self-financed attempt to start off and try t be a Michael Savage it was a really poor attempt. Jimmy Z said so many stupid bigoted things on his podcast with his religious Christian superiority morality views the jerk wold never ..ever..get any serious offer from a station that wanted to actually keep its license and not be boycotted out of existence. Jimmy Z was really one of the worse humans I have ever heard anywhere and I have to catch other hosts of the so-called red state ghost rider network that actually backed this guys podcast all these years.

Book on Congo shows what a pathetic history of sorry nation

   The country of Congo has always been a mess and in the nineties it suffered what some called the African War. A series of confusing conflicts erupted in this region that was so confusing and didn't make any sense that it garnered little international attention. I remember some of these miniscule press reports of the tremendous casualties and atrocities that were occurring by all these different ethnic groups that even a brain wiz spelling contest winner would have difficulty remembering. David Van Reybrouck brings us the history of this nation in a long novel that goes back to the Congo free state and early Belgium rule in one of the harshest colonial domination of colonialism in Africa . He goes through the intense rubber quotas that many Congolese would need to meet for the economy and how eventually and suddenly the people took control and demanded independence. The book goes through the Mobuto dictatorship and his stylish hats. I always thought this was one cool dictator and the book brings up the wonderful transitions back to African names throughout the Zaire society and how the rumble in the jungle was brought to the Congo as a major international event. This was a great fight between Cassius Clay and George Foreman. Congo was such a mess in the sixties and seventies that even the great Che Guevara left the country in disgust about the corruption and ineptitude of these people. The most intense part of the book is when Mobuto was finally overthrown and Congo was thrown into a new stage of utter chaos. Rwanda invaded and several African countries invaded to aid their rebels. It is amazing there was such fighting and on,y the scarce resources for a consuming world justifies this delusional warfare. The Hutus were massacring and being massacred all over the place. The Congo was really a country whose borders were drawn in a hope and achievement that all that could go wrong did go wrong for this once prosperous colony. If there was any African country that had the resources and could of been an industrial giant and major economic  power in the region it could of been Congo. This country is utter crap and will be taken over by the Chinese and perhaps only the Chinese can turn it around. The Congo is so messed up as a country and society and this is what happens when you cannot get along with the people down the river because they hunt fish a different way and have a weird dialect.

Jamie Logan and Jordon Morgan discuss food subsidies to make us unhealtheir

Jamie Logan. We are here to discuss obesity problems in America. The Us  government subsidizes 11 billion a year for corn and soybeans production in agriculture and it is no surprise that these ingredients make up all of fast food ingredients. The government does nothing to subsidize fruits and vegetables . His is the stuff that everyone says we are suppose to eat more and from my girth I can tell you I ate little.

  Jordon Morgan. Sodas sweetened with corn syrup have dropped in price twenty seven percent since the early eighties as well. The government doesn't want a healthy population. There are hundreds and thousands of people with no self-control they will over eat and light up that cigarette regardless of knowing its harm. 

 Jamie Logan. It is global markets that shape food prices and for some reason this government encourages food agricultural industries to produce the foods that make people like me fucking fat. People will eat more fries if the prices are cheap and eat les string beans and broccoli as those items remain expensive. What is at the root cause of this.

Jordon Morgan. I think its obvious. The incredible food transportation trucking industry relies on fact tha we can ship food for so far and it is easier to transport junk than fresh fruits and vegetables. People in this country are also addicted to driving and being on the go and local governments discourage farmers markets and other food selling options that don't fit in the sprawl index.

  

Jamie Logan. As long as you got so many folks dependent on needing to purchase the cheapest crap of the worse quality you will have families making the bad choices and filling their weekly groceries with cheap corn processed  foods instead of oranges and apples. The amount of junk in supermarkets and packaged is pretty amazing. I fell victim to that eating a microwaveable frozen dinner for years as co workers snickered whined my back how cheap I was and always ate that stuff in the break room.

Jordon Morgan.  Ya I knew of a cheap as at work to that always has Tupperware shit and just these really bad Aldi brand products. Aldi's is bar far shopped by the lower classes and half of them are overweight like you Jamie. This country needs health food at affordable prices but there seems to be this neo-liberalist attitude to give the people wha they want and just don't interfere. The fact is if this was the case government wouldn't be subsidizing the crap and fruits and vegetables would be comparable in price to corn syrup

 Jamie Logan. The government by making less nutrition food like potatoe chips cheaper is helping with the obesity epidemic in this country. A strong healthyoopulation is the complete opposite of what the ruling elites want to see evidently in this country. It is easier to control a dependent population with handouts on bad food that makes you weak and dependent on them than a strong restless population that will question authority.

Jordon Morgan. Wealthy people in their urban exclusive neighborhoods have access to all the varieties of food their money hoarding power is able to buy. The don't have to worry about high food prices for fresh fruit from Brazil as they have to worry about high rent prices that keeps the Aldi's and Wal Mart shoppers away. This is part of the scam man. A uglier fatter population has little chance to succeed and compete in a corporatescracy who decides who wins jobs and this often has to do with the physical appearance of applicants.

Jamie Logan. So your saying people in wealthier areas tend to be in better shape because they tend to get better jobs and this is a public evolutionary trend in society. You have a point. So many people away in peripheries of cities look like they would be so out of place in downtown hip neighborhoods and more likely to have had many children being dependent on governments.

Jordon Morgan. Exactly. The suburbs in America have flipped and now resemble what was always the norm I. Europe as rich people always lived in the urban centers and Muslims were brought in to do the ugly monotonous work in Europe and live in surrounding dead zones of Paris,London, Zurich,Copenhagen, etc. same thing with America as immigrants by pass the cities and head straight to the shitholes making cultural assimilation more difficult. The car dependent suburbs will have people who rely les on physical movement whether to get some place or for enjoyment of movement.

Jamie Logan I know my fat ass wouldn't move much in downtowns without the aid of taxis. The. What is the solution and getti g these people to quit relying on the cheap foods tha make them unhealthy.

Jordon Morgan. An intensive government program to bring down the prices of fruits and vegetables and a regulation on restraints and fast food joints to sell more fresh items. There should also be an end to these small conviant markets in ghetto neighborhoods usually run by foreigners from IIndian and. Arabia that over charge food items and just sell ships,soda and other junk.

 

Jamie Logan. I think government programs for more urban farms to sell better foods to all areas in cities includ g the food deserts. Indians and Arabs are the cause of food deserts has they have monopolized the few pantry store locations in many neighborhoods to just sell liquor and chips. Government programs for these immigrants encourages this type if horrible investment that is more of a detrimental to communities than a benefit. Replace all these cheap small Hindu and Korean owned  convenient stores in cities with fresh farm stands.

Jordon Morgan. Yes. The foods these Asian fucks would serve on their own dinner plates at home. You never see them suffer the same obesity problems and if they had few options in their neighborhoods and less money perhaps they too would suffer from this epidemic that in many causes immigrants and neo-liberalism free markets enforce on the poor.  

  Jamie Logan. We can end this discussion here I guess. No more trips to quick mart for me except for gas and a potty break on the road.

Author Phillip Jenkins interesting religious take on Great War of a hundred years ago

   The little understood religious connotations of World War One is often by passed by historians. Phillip Jenkins through wrote an excellent piece in a new book called "The Great And Holy War" and he brings up many religious accusations for this brutal war a hundred yeas ago. Religious themes  and imagery were often used to incite men to go out in an Armageddon battle that few new with modern new technology that they would come unscathed. Jenkins goes through the widespread visions of angels leading these battles and the modern concept of religious justifications for mass state on state violence. Jenkins also said the scale of violence of this war lead more people into religious fervor and turned the tide that was going against these habitual ancient rituals of boring tales. The intense wrath was somehow thought as proof of this war being the end of all wars and only religious righteous would produce the winner. This was a war where posters and a sort of advertising campaign by the various participants and undoubtedly this played a huge role in shaping European attitudes for this war. Europe was a different place a hundred years ago and one can say many of these religious folks were slaughtered in battle along  with the millions of future generations that would of came And passed on this faith bonded bloodlines.

  The author spends a chapter talking about the rise of Zionism during this time period and how the anti-Jewish feeling were already starting to boil in Central Europe with this new religious fervor among Europeans. Some revivalists, especially in America were extremely pro Zionism and pushed for the state of Israel even back then as so e sort of religious expansion and power vacuum for the disintegrating Ottoman Empire.  Is was the only non-Christian empire that played a major role in the First World War but here too religion was often justified for war expansions. The Muslim treatment of Christian minorities angered many in the West and this is highlighted in the book with the plot to carve up the empire of the Ottomans and bringing them in the war on the side of the Germans.

 The book ends with two chapters observing the rise of religion in society in both Africa and Islamic  lands  and the role of the war in shaping future trends and the rise of Christianity in African and modern Islam as a political force. Religion and the shift of populations and military action of so e many subjected people in this war through the British and French empires gave a new revivalism and thought conscious of subjected people for own self-rule and how they came about this was often through religious forces.

Otto Jansen fondly remembers Zaxxon and his biggest critique

    I can play the eighties classic arcade game Zaxxon for hours. Zaxxon was the first arcade game that had incredible 3d graphics that was a game changer and immediately became a hit. I still  play this game for hours at Galloping Ghost Arcade on Ogden Ave  in Brookfield. That is Brookfield Illinois and not that ugly sprawl suburb of Milwaukee. It had incredible controls where you c trolled a helicopter-type stick for the basic jet fighter in the game that you were suppose to be inside. Some folks tired of the game quickly as the difficulty and concentration blame to much for adolescents to handle.

 The game required patience and a steady hand that only an expertise painter could master. The only thing I didn't I didn't like about the game was the absurdity of a civilization that washable to create a castle fortress in space would actually be at the whites of what appeared to be a simple jet fighter. Why would they also create a force field that the airplane could easily avoid and fly under. There were hundreds of questions I had at why a high tech civilization would have the power to create this defense but they leave so many dam loopholes. A jet fighter who could only shoot one radar blast at a time. Every time I played the game I thought about the ridiculousness of this and how their defenses wouldn't of been more powerful from alien civilization that could build this fortress in the galaxies. Aside from this fact Zaxxon still is truly one of the most incredible games that was created and today's top notch graphic games don't even come close to the entertainment value

Al Sharpton's last racial limelight?

    Al Sharpton doesn't like the ability of police to defend themselves and property in Ferguson, Missouri so he is demanding congress quit funding military vehicles and support for riot squads. Al Sharpton is a racial demagogue and wants blacks to have full right to loot and destroy communities that they deem as doing something wrong from actions of one policeman .What this Ferguson, Missouri protests are actually about is black thuggish intimidation to America and the police force that had to be expanded over the years to deal with the threat of black folks in particular. The amount of racial hate and solidarity over deaths of criminals and black youth who battle officers with guns shows how well the seeds of insanity have been planted in the minds of the black community in America by those who seek to destroy this country. One only needs to look at crime and assault statistics this see it has a predominate

black face and the militarization  of the police and tougher tactics is a direct result of inner city residents that have been moving to other jurisdictions. The likes of Al Sharpton and other racist scum like him have been flaming the flame of race hate for years jumping on bandwagon of every incident around the country where blacks can project some victimization role. This serves only to try to enrage black populations and create some sort of Balkanization Syria type conflict in America. These protests and clashes with the police have entered its ninth night and is totally disgraceful and why they waited so lo g to ring in the national guard to these psychotic protestors is pretty pathetic. As protestors come from all corners of the country to try to enflame this situation and the only way to quell this is to make mass arrests and deport these fucks, including Sharpton, to Gitamano bay in Cuba. This  is an uprising that needs to be smoked out and not allowed to be spread to St louis and many other towns and the greatest police decision over the years w as to invest this  equipment and training to dwell with these rioting. One thing this country learned was that a group of minorities was not going to be allowed to destroy so much property and disgrace this country as they accomplished in Los Angles. There have been many on the left that dream of repeating this and they tried really hard and failed and was itching to get riots after the Trayvon Martin verdict and if riots do occur people like Al Sharpton need to be held responsible and have criminal charges rough against him in a court of law. Al is looking fucking old and really worn out these days and I believe with his healthy lifestyle over the years his days may be numbered. This very well could be the reverends last racial stand in his long and illustrious career of being a black racial demagogue bastard. 

Wal Mart goes after Walgreens

   I always predicted Wal Marts wold get smaller and go head to head with Walgreens. Several small Wal Marts are making their way into big box suburbia after years of just opening up in urban areas that their immense size wold never be allowed access. I was shocked the other day I saw a mini Wal Mart in Des Plaines, Illinois occupying strip mall locations that evidently were not good enough for Walgreens. Every Suburb in the Chicago region from Milwaukee to Merrillville, Indiana has a Walgreens that was suitably built by coalitions of money Hungery village leaders and eager developers and has thus given Chicago's metro corners a vary plain appearance at major intersections. I am sure this process is being played out  in several other cities across America and hopefully both these mega corporations harm one another. Both have helped destroy small family local business and a local unique look of villages and cities as the all have about as much quaint and charm as a desert nomad tent villa. This country needs more small family businesses from home and gardening to pharmacy to groceries and the only entrepreneurs that seem to accomplish this are in Mexican neighborhoods. All you see in white suburbia are 7 11 , Walgreens, or Ace hardware stores as these regions have lo g since been controlled by neo-liberalism free market jags. One of the reasons cities are so special and popular is because the preserved their buildings making real estate more valuable and didn't sell their lands to banks,box stores, and retail corporations that would love to build cheap strips in hip urban areas. that  If Wal Mart minis destroy Walgreens or vice verso we will all be better off aesthetically from these disgusting cheap environments we have gotten so use to accept and shop.

    Great Internet host Alex Jones had on his program great financial Internet speaker Max Keiser about a month ago on the Alex Jones show. When these two guys get together it is double your rambling YouTube entertainment talk about the global elites and financial crimes that go Unprosecuted. These two spoke about all the bankers killing themselves and how the world is coming to an end of using the rotten dollar as the worlds currency.

Keiser laughed at who is the United States going to team up with angering so many nations with its continued manipulation of its currencies to make risk ventures and fight foreign wars. Keiser pretty munched summed up how foreigners were a king Americas gluttonous lifestyles and how we are so ignorant to the fact that eighty percent of the world lives on a dollar a day. Alex Jones said these nations are getting together and planning on dumping the dollar and people have no clue to the financial hardships and drop in living standard Americans are going to have to deal with as the game is up. They talked about fake financial numbers published by the government are fake and how the casino gulag is preventing people from confronting the elites. Keiser's view of a casino gulag is the fallacy many people think they have a chance of joining the elites and their clubs in hope of winning a lottery thus they accept the rule and tranny of rule from the ultra wealthy.  The prices of food and energy are going up as the economy is flooded with more that only benefits those already at the top with access to make loans and risks that will be backed up by the government they fund to keep the status quo and enforced depression-like condition for the vast majority of the population. This  at a time as Keiser explains the greatest asset bubble ad increase for a small class of oligarchs in America who make insane I vest g decisions in sports and tech company's that enforce a surveillance state I America. This was a great conversation that explains  the fictionist  fallacies of the global class.

Argentina's great leader against global creditors

Perhaps no other international leader has resisted the vulture funds and mainstream creditors that hold CPU tries economies hostage as Argentina's Cristina Fernandez Kirchner. She has been a thorn on the side of creditors and the finance capitals in the United States for her refusal to drop the country and negotiate with hedge fund masters. These creditors have cut off Argentina for years from capital credit markets making Argentina a pariah state in order to cripple its leadership and economy. Despite these measures Argentina has avoided a doomsday scenario of total collapse that Wall Street and others orchestrated to bringing this nation back in line. The isolation of Argentina because of their willingness to spend on infrastructure and a social safety net is appalling and the world investing business classes will say its inept leadership for this isolation. 

Basically the internationalists want full control on spending projects and ability of nations such as Argentina to actually control their own economies and make crucial everyday living decisions for the people who live in these places. Argentina has gone into debt because the ability to repay these international cartel lenders that wreck havoc on a local economy is next to impossible. The sudden swing left by many Latin American elections is a direct result of this new type of neo colonialism from European banks and thankfully Argentina has had this great woman Ms Fernandez as their leader fighting against tis gross injustice against the creditors. TheUnited States could use a leader of her especially considering the next president could be major corporatist Hillary Clinton whose own husband sold the American public out as much as the past four Republican presidents combined. One of the for sure signs that globalization and the big banks control is ending is when South American votes have overwhelming guy chosen left leaders over the hers to totally contradict to the millions of political propaganda money com g from Yankee lands and business. 

Hercules was a lame wrestler

   The new movie that is lame with the Rock Dwayne Johnson reminded me of the lame eighties wrestler who went by the name of Hercules. The guy had to be one of the most unpopular wrestlers during that time period. What I mean by unpopular is not the same as hated because that would indicate fans actually cared something for the entertainer.Hercules was neither a wrestler nor entertainer  and his matches were usually the most quietest  in the arena (see wrestlemania 3) I remember going to a few WWF matches and when Hercules came out you could actually hear things outside the stadium. Hercules sucked and the thing that kids cared little about this clown was the fact they were insulted that this guy had to use some old story gimmick character for wrestling. This is the thing that was most insulting  to the mostly pre-teen audience that made up the majority of the fans back then. Hercules was a jacked up steroids wrestler whose only gimmick was some ancient Greek  character that was clearly unimaginable or relevant to wrestling fans. All the great wrestlers had interesting gimmicks that were both original and interesting and this guy had none of this. Hercules had an impressive physic but few cool wrestling moves and an inability to make a match long and lasting. This guy became tired quickly  and he was eventually moved into tag team wrestling because he couldn't carry his weight around in the ring. Hercules should of just stayed in bodybuilding and never entered the world of wrestling.

Mike Ditka comes to aid of Daniel Snydor and Washington Racistskins

   Chicago's own Mike Ditka had to give his opinion on the Washngton Redskin name the other day on a Redskins fans podcast. Mike Ditka once again made an ass of himself with his big mouth that the corporate advertisers love to throw money at because he coached one Super Bowl season in sports Hungary and loser filled Chicago. Mike Ditka went on to blame liberals for the controversy and that Damiel Snydor is correct to fight and keep the name. In Mike Ditka's time perhaps Redskin was used often In Areas that contained many Native Americans but in Western Pennsylvania the Indians had long been displaced to make room for the the likes of ..well coach Ditka. The idiot Iron Mike said the term as used and given out of respect although I am sure Native Americans were not consulted back at the beginning that Mike Ditka holds to relevance for this football league that has made him millions for acting like a jackass jerkass.

Mike Ditka sounded so stupid on redskinhistorian.com and his obvious lack of education on this topic is so apparent. The man was a  and football player in college and likely never attended his history classes and only went to his football classes. If he had gone to some American Indian anthropology classes or American history classes that were no skewed back then he wold have a little more respect for the dignity of Native Americans. The arrogance of this seventy four year old man who never really had a job I. Life that didn't I Volvo football or yelling at football players is the part in life that is silly,asinine, and I will add shameful for this old geezers to comment on whether liberals or actual fucking Native Americans find the term and nickname offensive. The problem with Mike Ditka is that he and old people in general do to like change of any kind. They perceive it as a threat to the status quo and what they have always known in life. This greedy son of a bitch Mike Ditka should never even have a saying of this topic and the fact he is given a voice on television because he caught balls and badly coached in the past is what is really appalling  and stupid. Dum Ditka and others who support the team name are actually celebrating white victory over this group when they lay claims of name respect. It is complete absurdity to lay claims of respect by making your defeated enemies for country into mascots for team names. one has to wonder what really was the purpose of these American Indian teams over the years and I think it was for assholes like coach Ditka to actually feel better about themselves. After  all defeating group of people who mostly had mid evil weapons against your modern technology gunfire doesn't really elevate your status unless you attempt to elevate the status of the enemy. Mike Ditka has no say and is full of rage and hatred when he sees people attempting to amend some wrongs that consisted of his personal history and the sport that famed him so. What needs to occur is the dining off of old bastards like him who would actually resist obvious things like this teams disrespectful imagery on the field of National Football Leagues and thankfully he is up there at seventy four years. I wold be willing g to bet and hope that in four years both the redskin name and Mike Ditka are gone and this cannot come soon enough for so many folks. I just wonder what this fool would say there was an expansion team in Alatoona,  Pennsylvania called the Polocks.

Lack of diversity in Patrick McDonnell's Mutts so evident

   Patrick McDonnell is the comic artist of Mutts and this is generally an enjoyable read in the newspapers and Sunday funnies. The comic strip consists of a dog and cat and their adventures in the world and mainly consist of other animals. The Biggest problem I have along with many others is the complete lack of diversity of the human characters and the fact that few if no black figures ever pop up in the worlds of Mr McDonnell.

The problem with a comic strip such as this that goes for the old retro look in never displaying a real view of this country is pretty shameful and the looks of this strip is that it was created in upper rural Canada and not the United States. Surely in real life Earl and mooch wold encounter some minorities in their daily wandering but the lack of them reflects the apparent lack of contact that their author evidently has with people of color. Many other great comic artists do not seem to have this problem including comic artist Darby Conley of "Get Fuzzy". Lacks and other ethnic groups do not seem to have such a hard time appearing in his comic strips and interacting with his pets as the mutts in mutts comics seem to never come across. I have looked at thousands and thousands of Mutts strips and have seen there are more barracudas than black folks in his strips and this is pretty pathetic. This may seem like a trivial matter whose imperative value may be questionable, but I just think that a comic artist with such a successful and popular comic strip should try their best to have their strip reflect 2014 and not 1954. Patrick McDonnell and his strip should be rewarded and celebrated for the great work it is but his lack of diversity at all in his Lilly white strips is pretty undeniable and makes people wonder exactly why.i
