Miss World Contest rightfully bans swimsuits

  Ali Muhammad

Western men are having derange fits about the news the other day of the Miss world contest. Islamic and proud Indonesia announced that women will not be in bikinis in the silly swimsuit addition of the Miss World contest. Instead all women will be wearing the local and more appropriate sarongs. The bikini ban is something people will have to get use to with the upcoming Islamic takeover and new philosophies to what is appropriate to wear. Western companies enforced and made women love the bikini as much as the ogling men about a couple of generations ago. This would never happen in an Islamic society. Contestants will be required to don one-pieces and even sarongs, traditional beachwear on the resort island of Bali, where the competition will be held. The Miss world contest was actually started in perverted England by a bikini company. It is the power and influence of Western media and money that shoved this bikini on many of the worlds women disrespecting their bodies for all to see. what people in the West don't like to see is an Islamic nation calling the rules of a contest held in their lands. Why would Indonesia want to promote skimpy outfits when it is not what the majority of folks want to see at their beaches. Why should they tell  their young women it is necessary to have just to take a dip in water. Women accustomed to showing themselves without constant harassment are going to find life at the beaches in the future more difficult in many of these Asian places. One can only hope that all these third world places stand up for decency and respect when it comes to hosting future Miss World competitions.
