In a shocking revelation I read that Nick Digilio was given a full time slot daily overnights at WGN radio. This is shocking news and I hardly doubt there is enough celebrity or television/movie talk that is possible for Nick Digilio. This is the first time he has ever been given his own radio program that was more than once a week. Nick Digilio is like most typical young Americans in that all they know and talk about is either movie related or television. There will never be any real foreign policy dialogue on his show and the fact that this one time Roy Leanord caller got a full time gig shows how pathetic and scared of political discourse corporate media has become in this country. They want mopes like Digilio on local talk radio not saying anything important locally or important in the community. Most of what this clown talks about in Chi-town is where to get the best hot dogs and so forth.
Of course no one listens to the radio at 2 am and so Mr Digilio is where you would expect someone like him. I also here that the geriatric mr Leonord will do some movie reviewing with him and I am sure it will be as exciting radio as it was when the teenage Digilio called him way back in the day to talk about Molly Ringwald movies. Basically WGN would be better off just rebroadcasting Chicago Cub baseball games than have a monkey hole like this guy spit on their microphones.
