Another urban street strip mall burns in Chicago. Roofers blamed

Baxter Lomax

Some buildings near Peterson and Lincoln burned down supposedly some roofers caused a week ago in Chicago's North side. A large contingent of two hundred firemen were not able to stall this fire and it raged for many hours pillowing the city with black some. One of the stores was a mattress store and that helped lead to the stubbornness of putting this fire out. Why all these fires are occurring in the city is clearly an indication of some businesses wanting prime spots and to get rid of the current tenants. I look to seeing a CVS or a Walgreens at this location in a few years and these corporations often have to make room to be able to fit and pass through zoning laws and use their money and influence to jump right in when one becomes readily available.
