We took a poll in the offices of the Left Shark and the subject of the worse country in the world was the topic. We brainstormed ideas for an hour and voted on this issue just to kill some time. I just hoped that a Latino country wouldn't win this award but it turned out we selected Honduras as the worse country in the world. An original banana republic Honduras has the highest murder rate in the world outside a war zone.
The gangs rule the country and involve themselves in all sorts of brutal crime as this country is a stage of drug smuggling from South America. Those that talk about having little government should study and take a look at this country and see what a small government results. The criminals are so brazen they even have tried to kidnap the daughter of the former president in broad da light despite her having three armed guards. This is a brown trash county where regulars for life runs little from the scumbag criminal and gang elements that need to be eradicated and exterminated for the benefit of the average law abiding Honduran population. Any country and government that doesn't stand up to gangs has a collapse of the nature of this little pathetic country and its fear of ruthless gangs that are a cause of their own oppression. Why any tourist would go to a country where the murder rate is 163 per hundred thousand is amazing but many still travel there for the warm beaches and Mayan ruins. it is too bad the drug habit of Americans and weak police force ruins it for Honduras.
