A few years ago Craiglist was the target of law enforcement and they subsequently shut down the popular adult services section that enables people to make exchanges through the free market. This is a twisted country that wastes so many resources on prosecuting consensual crimes between adults and really is not the governments responsibility to enact social morality on people. Now news is received that backpage is under the eyes of political moralists such as Illinois senator Mark Kirk who should have more pressing concerns than Mandy making a few extra bucks using her body to continue a shopping addiction. 
These right wing crusading Christian politicians see to have real issues with folks abilities to buy and trade sex and this shit is really none of their business. Backpage is a great site and if they shut down this one anger one will pop up with an adult services section offering a safer way for people to meet and make mutual exchanges. The only legislation I would like to see as a regular user of backpage is something to be done on the pathetic looking women that sell their services. Backpage has some of the most horrendous prostitutes you will ever see and many of these women should be lucky to get laid for free.
The idea that they want money judging from their looks and appearance through their pictures is an absolutely incredulous. Many of these women selling services are fat and many are extremely skinny looking like addicted crystal meth heads they likely are and if anything needs to be cracked down upon through backpage it is the quality of some of the ads I come across.
