Jacob Hornburger is some little dweeb blogger who recently wrote an article about Vietnam and appeared on the Scott Horton program. H is still not only fighting the Cold War but this libertarian jackass is still fighting the Vietnam War. He was really upset that Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey made a trip to Vietnam to court alliances with ..get this communists.
Jacob Hornburger asked what was the point of fighting Vietnamese communists if now we are going to some defense pact with the communists over the power of another massive communist state that is China. Obviously communists is something Mr Hornburger disdains by the mere fact that he said communists like sixty times in his interview on fellow libertarian Scott Hortons little listened to program. Mr Hornburger should be mad that the fifty eight thousand Americans who were sacrificed were not sacrificed by communists but by government ineptitude to control a country that wanted communists. An alliance between America and a communist Vietnam is a good thing and will show how far we have come through getting out of our political prejudices when concerning foriegn diplomacy especially ones that make sense.when The mere fact that out security state sees an alliance with tis nation that kicked out capitalist neo-liberal asses has nothing to do with an injustice was decades ago. Perhaps Mr Hornburger is not set in to the fact that all these nations around China feel threatened by China's growing assertiveness in the Sea of China region. Jacob Hornburget has no clue and thinks that Vietnamese communists would use these weapons on their own people and further terrorize them despite the fact there is little political instability and Vietnam is opening up its markets to foreign investment. If it bothers the nuts like Jacob then it is a good thing to see our top generals visit Vietnam and make new inroads in repairing relations in this country and beg for forgiveness in our unjust atrocities and aggression because of morons like Jacob Hornburger over the years had too much influence in American foreign policy. Like I said this dweeb is still fighting the Vietnam War and someone should tell his ass that we lost and the ..communists won.
