Tony Roma about to take Cowboys to playoffs

Jake Glass
Few sports columnists and experts would of thought that the Dallas Cowboys would have the best record in football. The Cowboys have been mediocre for a decade making a few playoff appearances and dropping out quickly in the opening round. This team has started out fast in some other previous years only to be brought back down with terrible mid-season play and often Tony Roma had been at the controls of these Cowboy teams. This year may e the same and the following few weeks will tell us about the real ability of
this team if they are the pretenders or actually real contenders for the NFL title. I am kinda mixed of potential success for the boys as I am a fan of Tony Roma and thought he was always an underrated quarterback and one of the best in the league. However, his tool of an owner in Jerry Jones makes everyone hate this team a d this organization is a far cry of being America's team as it was in the hey day of the seventies. The Dallas Cowboys have plenty of Super Bowl trophies in their closets and having a great quarterback was always key to their championships. I think Tony Roma has that ability and if he is going to have a Super Bowl ring it will be this year as the Cowboys have a great running back and offensive line. The players are not important to recall as the only one important is the quarterback and in this case Illinois collegiate Tony Roma is head above most in the National Football League and that is saying plenty. This is the era of great quarterbacks and anyone who has managed to play at a high level and keep his job all these years playing for non-playoff teams under a rich asshole owner is a testimony of Roma's staying power. Just surviving this long as a quarterback of many disappointing Dallas Cowboy season is deserviing of a reward and a Super Bowl ring
