Patrick Buchanan knows the right wing is wrong

Gino Frobel
Patrick Buchanan has always been different from other right wing conservatives as he has a bit more honest appraisal of the problems with hawkish foreign policy control. He knows the right wing has went wrong with many factors of extorting their power to places overseas. He complains  how neoconservatives have embarked on an imperial adventure to bark on. Every war that is going on in the world today. What Buchanan doesn't say in his classic book "where The Right Went Wrong" is that it is the power of transatlantic corporations that dictate these wars. Pat goes through several boring names of individuals who put themselves in George W Bush's presidency and basically took over things and pushed for an endless war state. In chapter three he questions whether Islam is the enemy or our foreign policy that supports invasion and support for brutal monarchs and their family dynastic oligarchy. Like many other writers Pat suspects part of the hatred of the West from Islamic worlds is also primarily caused how they fell behind us and became backwards after a millennium of looking down on European civilization. Buchanan is smart enough to realize that terrorist wars are unsinkable especially given the open border global world the international elites want to establish erasing national boundaries as they see it as unnecessary red tape to their profit taking monopolistic cartels. He eventually goes on to discuss the economic treason of our business elite as they establish trade deficits with China helping build that country's military industrial complex that threatens us and our Asian allies. Why the hell would Americans through our leaders and consuming cheap habits want to build up the one Asian country that is not our friend but biggest competitor. This is a question that the most informed keep asking about this society and surprisingly Patrick Buchanan blames much of the right wing in this country. This book is back from 2004 and is still a great informative read for us today.
