Peyton Manning's time coming soon

Andy Cruz
Thee was a time that Brett Favre thought he too cold play forever. The former Green Bay Packer great had been let go and had signed up with the rival Minnesota Vikings and he put up some great numbers. His productivity fell fast though within a few years and after many seasons was finally gone from the National Football League. One  has to wish and wonder that the same fate is occurring with Peyton Manning as is numbers of late have been horrendous. H had a completely repugnant America this past Sunday throwing four interceptions and practically giving the game to Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati  Bengals and many are hopeful that the end will come as suddenly for Peyton Manning as it did for Brett Favre. It just gets a bit tiring to see the same stars year in and out and put up the big numbers at quarterback especially given how the league has helped change the game. I mean who really in the hell wants to see Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl again.

I really doubt Peyton Manning would of achieved greater success than his old man without the numerous rules that made it easier for men like him. I think Archie Manning would of put up similar numbers to Peyton and I would not be surprised if someone like Steve Deberg would of had similar offensive explosive numbers in today's lame game that gives too much protection to passers like Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning in my mind is not as great as people will lay claim and had he been playing in the heyday of real football in the seventies he is just another Ron Jaworski  or Bob Griese. Only rule changes and toughening abilities of defensive players to actually defend plays has enabled the stats and greatness not to mention longevity of this horse playing quarterback for all these number of years. Peyton needs to quickly step aside and allow room for other young stallions to grab a ball under center and line up with al, the advantages he had in his career and timing in the league. Bret Favre had to do this and sooner or later Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will make the same decision.
