Arthur Berman and oil dialogue on Peak Prosperity

Alex Mousolopolous
The United States is not a big oil producer despite media declarations but Arther Berman was in Peak Prosperity saying basically this is all bullshit.
We are still consuming was much oil and that these oil wells and new discoveries of tight shale oil will soon be tapped much quicker than old Texas oil disappeared. We are still importing five million barrels and day and the incautious belief that we can actually be an oil exporter amazes Arthur Berman and others more aware of the oil predicament in this country. Berman says there are unlikely new sources of huge shale reserves to be found in North America and for a country that uses so much oil and is still so dependent own imports talk of eventual exportation is aporetic and the only way this CPU try will ever become energy independence is to get over the notion that everyone needs their own personal transportation method to get to stores. Berman says there is not a hundred years of recoverable gas and this figure is just put out on possibilities of small accumulative gas that is so small nobody ever developed it all these years. These are gas reserves so far apart that it is not economical feasible to get to most of this with all the infrastructure input a company has to put to drill.  Berman says we have about eight years of recoverable shale oil. Most of the production forecasts of ears and years of gas are based on lies and misinformation to fund their projects and get investment for their depleting wells. Every ten years Berman says the Saudis will pump more to drop the price and affect their oil producing competitors which is what we are seeing now and this is classic sign of a commodity that is getting even more scarce. Arthur  Berman is one of the leading experts in the global oil shortage and crisis and always a great listen.Image result for arthur berman oil
