James Howard Kuntsler had the Internet persona and blogger Lord Whimsey on his program not too log ago.
Allen Crawford talked to JHK about the state of male fashion in America and then once again James went on his rant about how the American male has put on a scary look in this dark age of American history. the scary looking rural tattoo freak look though has been common in American history and indeed American Indians warriors often put on this look before their various battles and in this case it is very similar to what is going on with the American under-class that has adopted this frightening look. The poor in America are facing the same situation of desperation in this society that native Americans faced and this is a reflection of the increase native warrior tattoo look from the Black and White underclass addicted and loving the gangster tattoo look that men like these two dweebs are so frightened.
This focus of the dress of American rural men of lower socioeconomic status has been an obsession of podcaster and our favorite social critic James Howard Kuntsler. I wonder if James would tell modern Native Americans such as myself that our ancestors looked like the savages he complains that these young tattoo freaks resemble today in America. I wonder what a Kuntsler would say if he say a Comanche or Pawnee warrior come down his street in tranquil upstate New York most likely freaking out and calling the local commander of the nearest militia no doubt. Kuntsler and Crawford need to realize the dress and punk scene look has always been a backlash against the mainstream of society and most likely has always been the case with human civilization although one must wonder if a James Howard kuntsler would even consider anyone with more than four tattoos a human being.
