Yuppies along Milwaukee Avenue lose Moonshine bar

Baxter Lomax
Yuppies along the Milwaukee Avenue corridor lost another bar not too long ago as Moonshine club closed down. This bar was particularly popular with Puerto Rican fashionistas and the small business elite of the Latin community who often wold go to this bar and demonstrate their outlandish tramp outfits while posting it on Facebook. They will now need a new place to go to as Moonshine was the latest bar n the Wicker Park and Bucktown area to shut down and perhaps make way for more corporate chains who see growth slow in the suburbs. More and more will these young peoples communities will come to look and resemble the strip malls they detest n the suburbs as their favorite places get stripped out of business. Moonshine was a modestly sized club that served killer cocktails with extra alcohol for their regular customers and friends of the now unemployed staff. There were way too many bars and clubs in this section of town and it seems that the free-market is finally putting the damper and free parties for many these owners and forcing their clientele to seek other alternatives that are just as likely to close someday as rents go up and peoples disposable income to drink on a Wednesday night comes to an end
